Introduction to my blog -Aparna-

Hello, my name is Aparna studying 8th grade in Ruamrudee International school Thailand. I have been blogging the last few months since school started in Thailand which is August. In this blog you will see several blog posts about flood, a poem and a video about myself. You will also see the header saying "Aparna the magical blue" because I love the color blue especially light blue. In our S.S class we are learning about the English history during the Tudors and Stuarts. During our lesson on Queen Elizabeth the first I found that the state Virginia got its name from queen Elizabeth because she called herself "Virgin Queen" since she didn't marry. In our L/A class we are now focusing on vocabulary and literature circle. So far I am enjoying school and all of us are really happy to learn at Ruamrudee International School. This weekend is a long  weekend because we have the King of Thailand birthday coming up who is turning 84 and the king who have been in throne for a long time. My hobbies are to paint and listen to music; recently I am learning how to do Batik so I can make my own dresses one day. Well, my ambition is to become a Doctor. In 8th grade we have a meeting every month together as a grade celebrating birthdays and awarding students the "Student of the Month" certificate Now, it your turn to tell about yourself to me so I can now who I am actually blogging with everyday. Bye!!!!

I Am

I am nice AND creative 
I wonder if people can see the future 
I hear Birds singing 
I see a magical world inside me
I want to see morning light on flowers 
I am nice AND creative

I pretend to know everything like you
I feel a great change around me that’s sparkly
I touch the magical water of heaven  
I worry about my future plans 
I cry when my world is dead 
I am nice AND creative 

I understand life might not stop to make changes 
I say believe in yourself for better chances 
I dream about real fantasy powers in human world 
I try anything that does not hurt me 
I hope to see my star on screen

Welcome to a world full of creative magical people!!! -Thailand-

Yes, Thailand is most inventive country in this world because of their quick mind. Thai's use what they have to be adaptable to their worst flooding in 50 year in time. Thai people are so creative they invent new things that can be used while flooding. Some of the Thais great inventions are the floating toilet, the elevated tricycle, waterproof cover for the car, and jet skis. All these portable inventions where by university students from top universities in Thailand. It is a really big help for all people who are affected in the flood. Today, during this disaster that has been for over a month Thailand has been very friendly to mother nature by recycling thing to make something useful. 

 

Ummm... What if you were one of the university students and you are assigned to make something useful for the flood. What are you going to do now? Well, if you ask me i would love to create a portable floating box to carry belongings. People would really need that for the areas where flood water level are till their neck or waist. This new creation is a transparent box that floats in water thats available in all sizes. It won't drown and when you are done you can fold and put it inside somewhere. It can carry a weight according to the size you want to buy.

 

Thailand has a creative mind thinking everywhere like the heart of the Royal Orchid.
